Maybe there is? Or maybe,
just maybe,
one might have the best quintessential Fall weekend to help ease into the transition. After I bring in the geraniums of course!
Last weekend it started out with a Friday night, country drive. ( my husband loves these and so does our dog Emilie)
We came across a corn field and watched droves of Canadian Geese honking, coming in for a landing. One V formation after another, right over our truck with a backdrop of beautiful skies at dusk and COLOR! You never Know what you will come across on one of our country drives!
On Saturday it was jam packed with a country church rummage sale, a hike with a reward of incredible views, a visit to a new brewery to try a tasty flight, and a Fall dinner that included my acorn squash from the garden.
As I watched the nightly temperatures plummet and my zinnias say goodbye the fun continued on Sunday with more Fall activities. Baking apple pie, harvesting our grapes, and making grape jelly for the first time. So, it may be goodbye for some things, but the hello to others certainly made up for it!
Enjoy every moment friends!
Happy Fall Everyone!
