School is out for Summer post

I always seem to post on the final day of school. Today is that day. I  feel it necessary to say that I really do LOVE my job! However, it is late June and I just look forward to gardening and working around the house so much! It's container season around here,
(or annual addiction 😉)

Fresh cut flower season,
(my favorite)

Daily bloom season,
(changes in the gardens every day)

Found free treasures that become a project season,

↓↓ Plants to follow around and inside this freebie.
(this was a fun find that just needed TLC and is a work in progress)
Hostas have been added since this photo was taken.

And sitting at the end of the day exhausted by hard work, observing the fruits of my labor season!

There will be some exciting things happening around here this Summer. Let the fun begin 👀😀 and stay tuned. I have 3 fun treasures in the garage right now that will be getting a makeover!!
Schooooooool's out for Summer!

I always post after a yard sale SCORE!

I am so happy to have my Mom back up here in VT! We spent the day together at yard sales and concluded at a great cafe in Jericho. Lunch on the deck on a beautiful day.

Did you ever find that Holy Grail yard sale that packs your SUV full? I mean, seats down, packed to the rim full? The kind of yard sale that is so good, so inexpensive, that you have to turn down good stuff because your car is so full kind of sale? Well, it was found today my friends. We drove away like giggly school girls!
No secret that I love blue and white! Hello $1, seat cushions! ( bad lighting in the photo, but they are crisp white, blue and lovely!)

And hello pretty bowl and pitcher for $2
You can barely buy a good cup of coffee for $2!!

And the score of all scores...

A porch swing in which I will be using this Pinterest picture as an inspiration which ironically I saved to "Projects" about a month ago. ( stay tuned for that reveal!)
You would not believe what I paid for it!! I can't wait!!

Also, stay tuned to hear how this family will stretch our wings a bit...
 ;)

Hmmm... some exciting news on the horizon.

These are pictures from my walk around the house realizing how lucky I am to live in such a beautiful place. To be surrounded by people that make me happy and that I truly love is amazing.

What a great day! I feel so blessed...
This is an amazingly good life :)
Hope you all are enjoying that same kind of happiness!

The grape arbor that the hubby built is doing well! Grapes are loving it! And he also supports my flower purchasing :)) He kind of likes it too ;)

Big smile, big sighs HAPPY!

June 1st, school is winding down...

I was so excited to change my calendar at school to JUNE! This time is so busy at school and definitely busy in the garden. With school winding down, I must admit that I rush to get home to work outside. Some days getting home quickly is a challenge with track practice, meetings, training for an upcoming race, and school stuff.

I look forward to the extra time that I will have when school is out for Summer.

So right now, I am grateful for the longer days and weekends spent in the gardens.

I am blessed to have my Mom back planting with me.

This past weekend she helped me plant all of the flats of zinnias that I started back in March.

We will definitely have plenty of zinnias and dahlias!

Yes, it's coming along beautifully outside!

And on my most busiest and craziest days...

I make sure that I take a deep breath and take my nightly stroll to see the progress. And maybe cut a few flowers for inside.

It's going to be a great season!
