Gardenalia in and out, July

It's been so long since I posted! I blame it on Instagram. It's so easy to just post one photo. I am not the greatest of photographers and I really do love to capture how my gardens look throughout the season. Sometimes I get lucky with a beautiful photo and sometimes not so much. Anyway, here are some shots. To the best of my ability, the happenings in and out of my home in July. 

I love birch ( especially during the holidays)! This little project took no time at all with my miter saw.

This "bench" was a roadside find. I think it was once the top of a twin bed? I think it looks pretty great under our apple trees.

I have had one of the best days EVER! I ran my fastest half marathon in a long time after recovering from a herniated disk injury. My hubby followed me mile for mile on this journey, including today. We went to one of our favorite breweries, Lost Nation with the best food and beer of course. And to top it all off, I found some treasures at a Restore on the way home! 

$1.00 bag, for a change other than a wreath.

This beauty below that I found for a steal! Holy farmhouse madness! $14, when I looked on eBay these antique chicken fountains go for $50-80! SCORE!

Truly, the best part of the day was spending it with my best friend. He is my hero and I love spending every moment I can with him. 💕 Hope you all are having your best days! :)

Bringing in the yellow

This is the first Winter that I have really complained about in a while. On my run yesterday the cold snowy wind in my face just made me mad. 😤 We haven't seen much of the sun around here lately so I had to take drastic measures! Forsythia and sunny yellow everywhere!

Spring? You cannot come fast enough!

A Well Needed Winter Break

Oh, Winter Break how I love thee!  Touches of Spring happening and some changes around here... I am so looking forward to trips and sun! It may be called Winter Break, however, it's more like I  need a break from Winter! Let the good times roll ☀🌅🌞

Winter final stretch?

Oh, the conflict indoors between wanting to break out the Spring decor when we still have a long stretch of Winter left. I am trying to bring in as many greens as possible! I am loving my new pendant lights above the countertop with the Edison bulbs!

 And some sunny yellows to make up for our lack of it.

Fresh flowers this time of year are a must and a godsend!
