More TIME for yard sales, projects and gardening

Two consecutive posts? Wow! I do have a bit more time. A bit...

More time is the best part of Summer!
Here is my clock find, ( found with my great friend this weekend) Notice I didn't say old friend ;)

Before:

After: (my son helped me pick out the paint when they were all out of my first choice)

Below is another yard sale find that my husband actually picked up for me: ( it was black originally, needed to be painted and of course needed to be on a post for the birds!)

This is still a work in progress. I want nicer more decorative L brackets underneath. I was impatient!

And more peonies...
They are amazing this year! So much happening around here!

UPDATE YOUR BLOG!

"Update your blog, your home now!"
~Advice from my friend that I spent the day with yesterday.

But you were just here yesterday, you saw all of this stuff!

To all my other friend viewers, family and the winter me that looks back at this in February when it's 20 below! Here is the update. It's definitely and Iris and peony show around here.

                                     Oh and Lupines too!

Succulents are doing well on the birdhouse.

I absolutely love begonias! It's amazing that they produce such a big colorful flower mostly in the shade.

Containers are thriving, veggies are growing.

And the Koi!! They are not very photogenic, but they are alive and doing well.

Conquering another Vermont winter!

Hope you are enjoying the summer.
P.S.
Stay away from a certain craft store. They have fall stuff out already! Oh No!!!! (great advice from my friend)
Also, my yard sale clock will soon be posted :)

School's out for Summer!
After camping with 54 students for our end of the year camping trip, it's over. Camping was amazing, epic campfire, cabins, great food... And 6th grade girls giggle all night and don't SLEEP! I came home to a cozy porch, clean house, and my hubby made something that smelled delicious in the crock pot when I walked in the door.

I love being at home.

Yes a homebody I am, always have been.

And I am completely looking forward to working outside in my gardens and trying all of the projects that I drooled over looking at on Pinterest in February and March!

The smell of the Lilacs when I am working in my garden is amazing. My husband loves to fill birdhouses so at times it sounds like a sanctuary here.

Yes home is the place for me. Summer is here and I am ready to soak it all up. Especially my favorite part...

the constant fresh cut flowers, and most of all more time to enjoy!

Yard sales, container season.

What a great start to this garden season! I have already found really fun containers to fill!

Succulents for my shallow rooftop birdhouse...

I painted the house to match my sheshed. It was a pale blue before.

Found this silver steal at a thrift store for $5!

Walking around cutting fresh flowers is my favorite part of the day after a long day.

My peonies, iris and lupine are really coming along! Enjoy!
