These are a few of my favorite things

I am a simple and extremely grateful person. This summer :These are a few of my favorite things...

I love when I weed, mow, move, make new, and garden all day long until I am so physically exhausted that I have to lie on the grass and take a minute to look at the sky (rewarding)!

Fun containers!

I love how I attended a banquet this summer honoring my son who was chosen to internship at the Boston Globe and he is only 16!

I love fresh salsa from the garden.

I love fresh flowers from the garden.

I love how my youngest son wanted a cello. And I thought... Okay a cello?
Until I heard him play Christmas songs (my favorite) when he has only had the instrument for less than a month.

Apples!! And Apples!

I love how my son is training for a half marathon with me.

Always love Zinnias! The most amazing flower!

I love those golf afternoons with my husband and son.

I love how the small town in which I live has an amazing airshow and fireworks display for the fourth , all of which I can walk to.

Water Lilies!

I love my rocking chair with a glass of wine, listening to the waterfall and appreciating our Koi that we so desperately try to save each year.

All of the colors of summer!

Of course Coleus in all it's forms!

Love the fact that I decided to stop fighting the growing shade at my house and use hostas in my window boxes/planters that can be planted at the end of the season. Save on my $ annual addiction!

Because I definitely can always use more Hostas! Can you ever Really have enough??

I love having a great long run on a hot day, jumping in the pool directly after, all before noon!

I love taking a class with my favorite colleagues that has left me so inspired to start the new school year.

I love having the summers to take a deep breath.

Most of all, I love the time with my family, the easy pace of summer, and gardening!
These are certainly just a few of my most favorite things.
