Well, it's official! Almost anyway. This weekend is the kick off to garden season. Veggies and annuals are going to be planted! So excited! This is the second best time of year!( Christmas being the first of course!)
The past few weeks I have been weeding, mowing, planting bulbs and splitting some perennials, while avoiding the temptation to plant. In this north region the rule is Memorial day weekend. To risky otherwise, with a chance of a lingering frost. It's finally almost time!
Other important projects had to be done too. ↓
Yes, Winter preparation is always a thought :(
My geraniums that I save each year...
The fish are waiting for the water lily cover.
Our apple trees on our property are thriving as well as the surrounding crabapple trees!
"A garden requires patient labor and attention. Plants do not grow merely to satisfy ambitions or to fulfill good intentions. They thrive because someone expended effort on them."

Fresh cut flower season!
Enjoy the long weekend, and Happy Planting!
